Is Dokomind free?
Yes. The playground, the context cost calculator and every guide are free and need no account.
Can I sign up for the Dokomind memory API?
Not yet. A hosted memory service is in development and is not available. There is no waiting list on this site.
Do the playground and calculator save what I type?
No. Both run in your browser. Nothing you enter is sent anywhere or kept after you close the page.
Does the playground use a language model?
No. It uses simple keyword scoring so that it can run without a server. It shows the idea of recall, not the quality of a production retriever.
Can I rely on the calculator for budgeting?
Use it to compare two designs, not to forecast an invoice. It leaves out output tokens, caching and the cost of writing memories, and it uses the price you enter.
Can I use the guides in our own documentation?
You are welcome to quote short passages with a link back. Please do not republish whole guides.
I found a mistake in a guide. How do I report it?
Email us with the page and what is wrong. Corrections are welcome.
Will you add a page for our use case?
Tell us the use case and what is different about memory in it. The list grows from suggestions like that.
